The Zoo will operate at limited capacity for the event to ensure social distancing. Therefore, advance tickets are recommended which you can purchase through the newzoo.org website. Each night 2 time slots will be available: 3-5 & 5:30-8. Gates will close 30 min before each time slot’s end time. Tickets will only be available at the gate the day of the event IF they have not sold out in advance. Come in costume! This year all guests over the age of 1 can receive a bag of candy upon arrival (even adults!). The Zoo will be filled with festive, family friendly Halloween decor, so enjoy the sights while visiting the animals. Ride the carousel and walk thru the Happy Haunted Maze in the Children’s Zoo. The Dog House will be on-site selling their full menu. Families can participate in a Scavenger Hunt & the first 500 families during each time slot can pick up a prize while supplies last. This year there will NOT be : Wagon Rides/Haunted Forest, Bounce Houses or trick-or-treat stations.
