DESCRIPTION:Burger Fest is an amazing volunteer-run festival that raises funds for scholarships and community projects in the Home of the Hamburger\, Seymour\, Wisconsin. Seymour is an idyllic community of about 3\,000 located in the heart of dairy country 15 miles west of Green Bay. Burger Fest started in 1989 to celebrate the birth of the burger in Seymour in 1885. The historical figure\, Hamburger Charlie\, invented the hamburger way back then and Americans bit on the hamburger craze! \nEvents start on Friday and take place at 2 locations: \nRock Ledge School and Park – Friday & Saturday\, August 8 & 9 \nHot Air Balloons! At Rock Ledge School and Park\, hot air balloons fill the field starting on Friday! There are Balloon Ascensions at 6PM and Balloon Glows at dusk (about 8PM)\, as well as kid’s events and food from 4-9PM. Food and drink are available and sold for the fundraiser\, so no carry-ins\, please. Entrance and parking are free. No\, Pets\, Smoking or Alcohol is permitted on school grounds. \nEnter To Win A Balloon Ride: Purchase a $10 raffle ticket Friday night 4:00 – 7:00 pm at the Balloon Rally\nfor a chance to ride in a balloon on Saturday morning! Details will provided after the drawing.\nMust be present to win. \nDowntown Seymour – Saturday\, August 9th \nBurger Fest! Seymour hosts the World’s Largest Hamburger Parade\, Bun Run\, Kids’ Run\, music\, kids’ games\, the Burger Eating Contest and the Giant Ketchup Slide! The Car Show\, Railroad Depot and Community Museum are included with the Saturday entrance fee. \nBurger Fest Entrance Tickets: Saturday wristbands (cost of admission) are 11am-5pm $5 at the gate ($10 after 4pm): Includes General admission to concerts and most all activities.
