DESCRIPTION:Triangle Sports Area is a great location for all season activities. Winter tubing\, ski and snowboard hills\, disc golf during the fall\, and a chalet available for rent from April to October. We also have trails for cross country skiing\, biking\, or walking. No ski rentals are provided\, but tube rentals are available. There is also a tow rope. \nHours depend on snow conditions. There must be a snow base of 6-8″ before they can open\, so check their FB page here to confirm if they are open before going. \nTypical winter tubing hours are: \nThursday and Friday: 4:30-7:30\nSaturday and Sunday: 11:30-7:30\n\nIf temps are below freezing they will close earlier or adjust hours.\n\nFacilities include: \n\nA heated chalet with restrooms and concessions\nOne tubing hill (approximately 80 feet) with a new magic carpet lift\nTwo ski/snowboarding hills (approximately 75 feet) with rope tows\n3.37 miles of cross-country ski trails\n\nTubing\, Skiing and Snowboarding: \nCheck out our Facebook page for conditions of the hill and if we are open because we are dependent on the weather. DESCRIPTION:Triangle Sports Area is a great location for all season activities. Winter tubing\, ski and snowboard hills\, disc golf during the fall\, and a chalet available for rent from April to October. We also have trails for cross country skiing\, biking\, or walking. No ski rentals are provided\, but tube rentals are available. There is also a tow rope. \nHours depend on snow conditions. There must be a snow base of 6-8″ before they can open\, so check their FB page here to confirm if they are open before going. \nTypical winter tubing hours are: \nThursday and Friday: 4:30-7:30\nSaturday and Sunday: 11:30-7:30\n\nIf temps are below freezing they will close earlier or adjust hours.\n\nFacilities include: \n\nA heated chalet with restrooms and concessions\nOne tubing hill (approximately 80 feet) with a new magic carpet lift\nTwo ski/snowboarding hills (approximately 75 feet) with rope tows\n3.37 miles of cross-country ski trails\n\nTubing\, Skiing and Snowboarding: \nCheck out our Facebook page for conditions of the hill and if we are open because we are dependent on the weather. A base of 8-12 inches of snow is needed in order to tube\, ski and/or snowboard. \nTube riders will go from the top of the hill — at an approximate height of 80 feet — down one of four tubing lanes. We allow one or two riders on each tube and up to three tubes in each lane. Riders may choose to walk up the hill or use our magic carpet that will bring the rider(s) and tube up to the top of the hill. \nRequirements: \n\nWe require single snow tube riders to be at least 42 inches tall for obvious safety reasons.\nInfants or young toddlers are not allowed. Children must be able to stand on their own\n\nMagic Carpet: \nNEW in 2022-2023\, a user-friendly conveyor will lift all types of riders from the bottom of the tubing hill to the top for a day of fun! \nCost: \n$7.00 per person per day \n\nLift Tickets are required for each individual person in order to use the lift even when sharing a tube.\nTickets can be purchased in the Rentals building located on the West end of the park.\nTriangle Sports Area rental tubes must be used in order to ride down the hill\, and are provided at no cost.\n\nTubes will be picked up in the Rentals building located on the West side of the parking lot. We have approximately 150 tubes available.\n\n\n\nTubing Rules and regulations: \n\nSafety is our main goal when operating the tubing hill. Please be patient\, cautious\, and aware of your surroundings.\nOnly Triangle Sports Area tubes are allowed in the park. Personal sledding equipment is prohibited.\nIndividuals must keep within the lift track and follow staff instructions.\nWalking up the hill is only allowed on the far west end.\nStanding or kneeling on tubes is not allowed.\nUnsafe or careless behaviors will not be tolerated.\nThe possession and/or consumption of alcoholic beverages or drugs on the premises are not allowed.\n\nSkiing/Snowboarding Rules and regulations: \n\nSafety is our main goal when operating the tubing hill. Please be patient\, cautious\, and aware of your surroundings.\nOnly users with bindings on their equipment will be allowed on the lift.\nIndividuals must leave at least 10 to 15 yards between each other while using the lift.\nIndividuals must keep within the lift track.\nIndividuals should not hold on or whip the tow line.\nGames and rough play will not be permitted.\nThe possession and/or consumption of alcoholic beverages or drugs on the premises are not allowed.\nTubing/Sledding is not allowed on ski/snowboarding hills at any time.\n\nFind more info here
