Burger Fest Returns to Seymour for 36th Annual Celebration of Hamburger History!

The 36th annual Burger Fest returns to Seymour, Wis., the Home of the Hamburger, for a full day of
burgers, live entertainment and family-friendly traditions. This year, organizers will also attempt to
overtake a world record by cooking 6,000 burgers in an eight-hour period.

World’s Largest Hamburger Parade at 11 a.m.

Famous 200-pound hamburger, Burger Eating Contest at 1 p.m.

Kids Big Wheel Race Rally at 2 p.m.

Giant Ketchup Slide at 4 p.m.

Additional activities include the Bun Run 5K, car show, marketplace, live music and family activities.

Hot air balloon activities will also take place at Rock Ledge Park, including a 7 a.m. Morning
Ascension, 5 p.m. Afternoon Ascension and 7 p.m. Balloon Glow, weather permitting.

• 7 a.m.: Yoga with Jane Guyette from Alive2Thrive at the gazebo on Depot St.
• 7 a.m.: Hot Air Balloon Morning Ascension at Rock Ledge Park (weather permitting)
• 8 a.m.: Bun Run 5K begins and ends on Depot Street
• 9 a.m.-2 p.m.: Burger Fest Car Show
• 9 a.m.-3 p.m.: Burger Fest Marketplace at Don’s Quality Market parking lot
• 10:30 a.m.: Kids Fun Run begins at Main St. Trolley
• 11 a.m.: World’s Largest Hamburger Parade on Main St.
• 12-12:45 p.m.: High school marching band performances on Depot St.
  • 12-12:15 p.m.: Pulaski High School Marching Band
  • 12:15-12:30 p.m.: Seymour High School Marching Band
  • 12:30-12:45 p.m.: Freedom High School Marching Band
• 1 p.m.: Burger Eating Contest at the Depot St. Burger Stage
• 1-4 p.m.: Bubba Lewis Trio at the museum gazebo and Frank Childress and the Main Street Band at the Elexco Roadhouse Beer Garden
• 2 p.m.: Kids Big Wheel Race Rally at Depot St. Drag Track
• 4 p.m.: Giant Ketchup Slide at West Depot St.
• 4 p.m.: Grand Union Band at the Elexco Roadhouse Beer Garden
• 5 p.m.: Hot Air Balloon Afternoon Ascension at Rock Ledge Park (weather permitting)
• 7 p.m.: Balloon Glow at Rock Ledge Park
• 8 p.m.: Bad Habitz at the Elexco Roadhouse Beer Garden

Admission to Burger Fest is free, with food and beverages, kids’ activities and photo opportunities with Hamburger Charlie available throughout the day. The Burger Fest Balloon Rally at Rock Ledge Park is also free to attend, where visitors can see hot air balloons take to the skies, weather permitting.
