the story behind let’s go mommy
The idea for let’s go mommy was born out of the realization that there were so many things to do and places to go with kids in the Green Bay area, yet there was no single resource that listed them all in one place. Back in 2009, as a new stay-at-home mom and a relative newbie to the area, it took a lot of work and word-of-mouth to find out what activities were going on where, when and what days. After a few years I finally felt connected and “in-the-know”–save the occasional best kept secrets. So in 2013, I sat down and put the idea for let’s go mommy to paper and started executing it. Then, in 2015, when my two oldest daughters were in school full-time and my youngest would be starting 4K in the fall, I had a little more time on my hands and decided it would be a great time to launch letsgomommy.com. On May 5, 2015, let’s go mommy was launched…the rest is history!
