Presented by U.S. Venture, event will offer luge, curling, ski jumping, biathlon and figure skating
Titletown will transform into a winter sports wonderland on Jan. 31 when it hosts the seventh annual Titletown Winter Games presented by U.S. Venture.
The free event will offer community members the chance to experience the thrill of luge, curling, ski jumping, biathlon and figure skating ahead of the 2026 Olympic Winter Games in Italy.
Activities will begin with an opening ceremony at noon on Saturday, Jan. 31, and conclude at 7 p.m.
The public is encouraged to bring bike or ski helmets to wear while participating in the sporting activities; additional necessary equipment will be provided. All participants must complete a waiver before beginning activities. Waivers can be completed in advance at this link. More information about the sports featured at the Winter Games is below:
Ariens Hill will be closed for tubing Jan. 30-31 for the event. Hy-Vee Plaza skating hours will be shifted to that of the games and will remain open during normal hours of operation. Admission rates will apply throughout the weekend.
