Let’s go ride!

[Sponsored Post by BayCare Clinic]
If you enjoy biking, this is the perfect event to get your kids and the whole family started on biking! Join us on Saturday, June 2, 2018, for a great day of cycling! The ride starts and finishes at BayCare Clinic headquarters at 1035 Kepler Drive on Green Bay’s east side. The BayCare Clinic Century ride goes from Bayshore to Lakeshore, from along the waters of Green Bay to Lake Michigan and back. This is the second annual event and the ride is sponsored by the BayCare Clinic Foundation which is part of the BayCare Clinic Bikes fitness and wellness initiative. BayCare Clinic Bikes promotes bicycling as a healthy, family-friendly activity. Efforts are aimed toward increasing bicycling and advocating for bicycling safety throughout northeastern Wisconsin.

The ride offers 100-, 60-, 30- and 15-mile options so that cyclists of all ages and abilities can experience an adventure tailored for them. The 15-mile option is great for a family bike ride! Courses go through scenic Brown, Kewaunee and Door counties. Century riders (those going 100 miles) will travel from Green Bay to Lake Michigan and back. Along the way, all riders will enjoy rest stops where they can refuel with delicious snacks and beverages.

More than 300 cyclists joined us last year for the first BayCare Clinic Century Bayshore to Lakeshore ride and we are hoping even more will join us this year–especially families!! Entry fees are $60 on May 1st and increase to $70 on June 1st. The 15-mile ride is $30. Plus, riders ages 17 and under are FREE with a paid adult, limited to two free riders per paid adult. Registered riders will receive a commemorative item. All proceeds from the ride will go to the BayCare Clinic Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization which supports causes and organizations that promote improved health and livelihood in northeastern Wisconsin.
