Apple Orchards & Pumpkin Patch Guide: Green Bay Area 2021

October is almost here and it’s time to get out and enjoy some apple orchards and pumpkin patches! Here’s the 2021  list with 14 family-friendly places to visit that are an hour or less from the Green Bay area. And it’s not just a list of locations–the let’s go mommy list provides you with everything you need to know before going including address, hours, description and costs…all in one place to make planning easier. (But, if you want a quick list, we have that, too–just check out our pumpkin patch and apple orchard guide page here.) Most places are open through the end of October unless otherwise noted.

Visit the orchard/pumpkin patch website link directly (which you can find below) or call ahead with any specific questions. It’s always a good idea to take or wear rain boots or “play shoes” that can get dirty/muddy in the corn mazes. Or, depending on the weather, you may need sunscreen and/or bug spray, so plan accordingly.

I hope you and your family find time to check out at least one of these great locations! (And if you know of any that are not listed that should be added, please let me know.) Happy Fall!!

The Little Farmer’s mission is to provide you with the experience of a rural farm – a return to the land and your roots. When you visit you will sense the great pride they have in providing you with fresh produce, bakery, caramel apples, fall colors and products. Lifetime family memories start at one of the area’s oldest farms.

All pumpkins are sold by their size using “size rings”. There are 6 different sizes. You are encouraged to measure your pumpkin using the rings which are located around the farm buildings and near the fields. You can pick the pumpkins yourself or buy pre-picked.

They offer a corn maze for $3.25 per person. It is a little over 6 acres and takes about 20 minutes. If you have time, you can help figure out who stole the pie from the Bakers! It’s a fun little game to help your kids learn about animal tracks.

Enjoy a tractor-driven hayride around the farm on Saturdays & Sundays from 11-4 (weather permitting). It weaves through the apple orchard, fields and 40-acre woods. Each ride lasts about 25 minutes. Buy tickets from cashier.

Visit the barnyard and find goats, Scottish Highland Cattle, sheep, peafowl and chickens. Kids can feed the goats with goat pellets for 25 cents per hand.

Pre-picked apples only from the orchard in 2021 due to frost; U-pick not available. (They also have an apple orchard and offer pick-your-own apples. U-pick bags must be pre-purchased from a register; you may not bring your own containers for picking or reuse bags from a previous visit.)
