Fall Family Fun at ZOO BOO!

ZOO BOO is one of the best fall/Halloween events in the Green Bay area and is one of my favorite events to attend each year as a family. If you’ve never gone before, I highly recommend that you check it out this year. It’s time to make this a fall family tradition!!

Celebrate the Halloween season at the NEW Zoo & Adventure Park on Fridays & Saturdays, October 9th, 10th, 16th, 17th, 23rd & 24th. It will take place on Fridays from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

(Another fun event is on Wednesday, 10/7, when you can help carve pumpkins that will be used to decorate for Zoo Boo! This fun event takes place at the Pines Shelter from 4-8PM. People are invited to come and carve pumpkins (provided by Hy-Vee). The carved pumpkins stay at the Zoo. While you’re there, Happy Joe’s Pizza will provide FREE PIZZA and there will also be drinks for everyone who joins us (while supplies last)! Happy Joe’s mascot, “Happy the Dog,” will also stop by that night to meet guests. This is a great opportunity for families, along with larger groups such as scout troops, clubs, churches, school service groups, and more. Everyone is welcome! You can find out more here.)

Adults and kids alike are encouraged to wear your costumes and bring your trick-or-treat bags to collect candy as you stop at the many Treat & Activity Stations around the Zoo. Kids can play games and spend some time in the bounce house before or after you see the animals and enjoy all the fun and festive decorations. In fact, North Shore Bank Zoo Boo features the largest collection of skeleton scene displays in the area! While you’re looking at the decorations, you’ll want to play the Zoo Boo Skeleton Safari game to find our fan-favorite skeletons making mischief around the zoo. Also enjoy the 200+ carved pumpkins lining the zoo’s pathways as you complete the scavenger hunt. Then stop by the Prize Table before you leave so kids can choose a prize just for playing. For the bravest zoo guests – you’ll want to take a walk (or two or three!) through the Haunted Zoo Zone – if you dare!

New this year, “Nothing Bundt Cakes” and “Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck “will be here with a delicious assortment of tasty desserts and drinks for purchase.

Before 10/9, tickets are $15 each (kids under 3 are free) or for just $20 each, you can get a Canopy Tour + Zoo Boo Combo Ticket and enjoy all the fun of Zoo Boo PLUS a walk on the Neil Anderson Canopy Tour, where you can enjoy even more decorations and Halloween-themed fun! Starting 10/9, tickets will be $18 each for Zoo Boo or $23 each for the Combo Ticket.
