53 Things to Do in Green Bay: Summer 2017

I’ve spent many hours the last few weeks updating all of the “summer hours” at various businesses/destinations and adding over 500 special events going on in Green Bay this summer!! I have also updated the hours for all of the outdoor swimming pools, wading pools and splash pads. Everything can be found in the let’s go mommy calendar, but for those of you who like to have things consolidated into one place and love lists, below is a recap of the many things going on in the Green Bay area this summer that you should try to check out with your kids and family. Many of these activities are free or cheap (not including purchase of food). Those that are free are noted as such. For more information on these events, you can look them up by date in the let’s go mommy calendar. I have also included links to various events. In no particular order (except somewhat chronological) here are 53 Things To Do this Summer in Green Bay:

1. Free movies at the library all summer at various times and locations. Find out more here.

3. Outdoor Swimming at Resch Aquatic Center, Joannes Aquatic Center, Colburn Pool, De Pere VFW Pool, De Pere Legion Pool or Ashwaubomay Lake. (Check the let’s go mommy daily calendar for hours and cost.)

6. Kids’ Dream Summer Film Series with cheap family movies at BayPark & Green Bay East Cinemas on Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays at 10AM; beginning 6/11 through 8/16 (get 2 FREE passes per family/per movie by visiting this link)

7. Waterboard Warriors Waterski Show @ Mueller Park in Wrightstown every Tuesday & Thursday from Memorial Day through Labor Day; shows start at 7 in June & July and at 6:30 in August FREE

8. Music on the Green at Heritage Hill State Historical Park bi-weekly on Mondays starting 6/12 from 5-8PM; ends 8/21 FREE

9. Children’s Storytime at Green Bay Botanical Gardens Tuesday mornings at 10; begins 6/13, ends 8/29

16. Summer in the City with special performances by various acts at the Central Library Auditorium on Wednesdays at 10AM & 1:30PM from 6/14-8/9. FREE
