Whether you’re a seasoned skater or a beginner, our versatile rink offers skate rentals and endless fun for all ages. The Howard Commons Skate Rink is your go-to destination for endless family-friendly fun in a vibrant community atmosphere!

Skate Rink Hours of Operation

• • Thursday 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.
  • Friday 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.
  • Saturday 12:00 to 9:00 p.m.
  • Sunday 12:00 to 5:00 p.m.
  • The rink is closed Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.

  Note: Hours may vary due to holidays, no-school days, and other special occasions.

Ice Skating Fees:
Open Skating: $6 per day (ages 4+)

Skate Rentals: $3 per day

Don’t have your own skates? We have Figure Skates and Hockey Skates available for rental (limited quantities available) in sizes Youth 9 through Adult 13.

• $3.00 per day rental fee
• Socks are required to rent skates. Forgot your socks? We have various sizes for sale for $1.00 per pair.
• Helmets are available to rent with an ID deposit
• Skate trainers are available (recommended for ages 4 and under).

Skate Sharpening

Skates looking a little dull? We’ve got you covered.  Bring in your skates to the Activity Center and we’ll sharpen them for $5 per pair!

NOTE ABOUT WEATHER: If temperatures are forecasted to be in the single digits for the majority of the open hours; the rink will remain closed.  Wind chills forecasted below zero will also cause the rink to remain closed.  The safety of our staff and patrons remains a top priority, and closures will be communicated via our Facebook page.
