Again this summer all kids ages 1-18 can get a FREE, healthy lunch at one of many locations in the Green Bay area! Locations include Green Bay’s Central and Southwest Libraries, The Wildlife Sanctuary, at one of 35 Green Bay parks, Optimist Park or West De Pere High School in De Pere, Fort Howard Park or Parkview Middle School in Ashwaubenon, Oneida Nation Elementary School, Pulaski Middle School, 7 locations in the village of Howard or at 20 schools in the Green Bay area. Some of the free summer lunch programs begin as soon as June 10th while others begin a bit later, but you can find specific dates below. Lunch trucks can only stay for 10 minutes, so don’t be late picking up your lunch! The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), which is funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and is administered by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, provides nutritious meals to children during the summer, when free and reduced-price school meals are typically unavailable. This program fills a void when school lunches are not available and helps parents meet the nutritional needs of their children.
Box lunches will be available from 11:00-11:15 AM Monday thru Friday at Central library and from 11:00-11:10 AM Monday thru Friday at Southwest library from June 12th through August 16th. Many times there are special story times before or after lunch, so be sure to check those out as well. Lunches must be eaten at the library during the lunch program. Feel free to bring a picnic blanket along. Adult lunches are available for purchase for $3 each. No lunches will be served on July 4th.
Box lunches will also be available at the Wildlife Sanctuary from 11:50AM-12:00PM Monday thru Friday from June 12th through August 16th. No lunches served on July 4th.
In addition to the libraries and Wildlife Sanctuary, park lunches will be available at various times between 11AM and 1PM Monday thru Friday, from Wednesday, June 12th through August 16th, at 35 Green Bay parks! At Optimist Park in De Pere (800 Cook St), kids can get a free lunch between 12-12:30 PM from June 17th through August 16th Monday thru Friday (no lunch on July 4-5th). All lunches must be consumed on-site. Adult lunches available for purchase for $2, cash only. A menu will be posted on-site at Optimist Park or you can find it online. In case of severe weather, lunches will be served at Heritage Elementary School at 1250 Swan Road in De Pere.
At West De Pere High School in De Pere, kids can get a free lunch between 11:50AM-12:20PM from June 10th through August 23rd Monday thru Friday (no lunches served July 1st-5th). Adults over 18 will be charged a minimal fee for lunch.
At Fort Howard Park (2172 South Broadway) in Ashwaubenon, kids can get a free lunch at noon from June 12th through August 13th Monday thru Friday. Each person must be present to receive a lunch. Adult lunches available for purchase for $3 each.
At Parkview Middle School (955 Willard Drive) in Ashwaubenon kids can get a free lunch at noon from June 12th through August 13th Monday thru Friday in the school cafeteria. You do not have to be enrolled in summer school to receive a free meal! Children of any income level are welcome to participate. Each person must be present to receive a lunch. Adult lunches available for purchase for $3 each.
At Oneida Nation Elementary School (N7210 Seminary Rd) in Oneida kids can get a free lunch at noon from June 10th through August 16th Monday thru Friday in the school cafeteria. No lunches served July 4-5th.
At Pulaski Community Middle School (911 South Saint Augustine St) in Pulaski kids can get a free lunch between 11:00AM and 1:15PM from June 17th through August 23rd Monday thru Friday in the school cafeteria. No lunches served July 4-5th.
In the village of Howard, there are 7 locations where kids can get free lunches from June 10th through August 23rd Monday thru Friday. No lunches served on July 4-5th. All meals must be consumed on-site. Adult meals available for purchase for $3 cash.

There are also 20 Green Bay Schools (including Boys & Girls Club locations) serving free lunches for kids from June 12th through August 27th at various times between 11:00AM-12:30PM Monday thru Friday. Some of these locations will serve breakfast as well, at various times between 7:45-9:45AM. There are no meals served July 1st-5th (July 4-5th for some locations).
