MOPS (Mother of Pre-Schoolers) is for any mother of a child who is in kindergarten or younger. MOPS offers a relaxing time to meet with other moms to talk, share, develop friendships and learn new things related to your home and family while embracing the journey that is motherhood. Children receive supervised playtime while enjoying Bible stories, music and craft classes.
There can be multiple MOPS groups within a community. In order to find one near you, simply visit www.mops.org and check out the “find a group” page. This particular post is about the West Green Bay group which meets at Green Bay Community Church.
Moms can attend one meeting free of charge from registration or childcare if they would like to try it out before joining. (Advance notice is appreciated to ensure there are enough childcare workers on hand.) There are typically about 50 moms who join per year. Another great thing is that you are assigned to the same table for the entire year, so you really get to know the six or seven other moms at your table.
