Monday Morning Moms in Green Bay

Meet Kayla Saiberlich!

Q: What town/city do you live in?

A: Greenville

Q: How many kids do you have?
A: One

Q: What are their ages?
A: 4 years old

Q: Do you work outside the home? If so, where/what do you do?
A: Yes, I do work outside our home. I am an Administrative Team Lead with First Impressions Pediatric Dentists. I work out of our Appleton, Bellevue, Suamico and Shawano locations helping with front desk and administrative work. I love that we are the first ones you see when you come in and greeting the kids and seeing their faces is the best part of our day!

Q: What is your favorite at-home activity to do with your kids?
A: We love to color! We also enjoy game night, Hungry Hungry Hippos is a family favorite right now. 🙂

Q: Where is your favorite place around Green Bay to take your kids?
A: We love the Tundra Lodge! Our daughter loves the water so this place is perfect for us to spend the day and is not too overwhelming in terms of size! It’s just right for kids her age.

Q: If you had one parenting tip to share with others that has worked for you/helped you, what would it be?
A: Biggest tip would probably just be talking with your kids. Engaging them and asking them how their day is, how they are feeling. One thing we’ve noticed as our daughter gets older is the transition to her understanding things and expressing herself. We find the more we talk to her about things and her feelings, the less tantrums we have and the better she understands how we handle our feelings.

Biggest challenge is eating! Our daughter is a grazer so she would rather snack all day than eat actual meals. Dinner time takes forever in our household!

Q: What is your favorite hobby when you have time for yourself?
A: I love to play volleyball, but also craft as well!

Q: Are you a night owl or an early bird (despite what you have to be as a mom)?
A: Night owl–I always have been.

Q: Share a funny quote from one of your kids.
Me to our daughter: You know what I’m sayin’ dog?
Avery to me: Mom, I’m not a dog. You know what I’m sayin’ kitty cat?

That was definitely one of her more witty responses that got us laughing! 🙂

Thanks for sharing with us, Kayla! Check back on another Monday to meet other area moms.
