Q: Do you work outside the home? If so, where/what do you do?
A: I work at Aurora Healthcare. I am a Phlebotomist. As of January 2016 I have been a Phlebotomist for 12 years! I love my job!

Q: What is your favorite at-home activity to do with your kids?
A: I love to bake with my kids. They both sit on the counter and help dump all the ingredients into the bowl (dump truck noises included). Our favorite things to bake are Gingersnap cookies and homemade Banana Flax Bread.

Q: Where is your favorite place around Green Bay to take your kids?
A: Church, actually! Both of my kids look forward to attending our church–Spring Lake. My son loves going to his class and learning Bible stories and playing with other kids his age. I love to hear what he learns each week. I love the hour to sit in church, learn and worship.

Q: If you had one parenting tip to share that has worked for you/helped you, what would it be?
A: Sometimes, when my kids get a little stir crazy/cabin fever/mid-day fussy, I say “Let’s go for a ride!”, buckle them into their car seats and just drive. Almost always they will both calm down and read their books or fall asleep. I enjoy the drive and the peace and quiet. Our trip usually takes us to a Starbucks drive- through for an Iced Coffee for myself. (Because I have gift cards from Christmas so I don’t even have to pay for it! And because they are delicious.) The relaxing drive makes for a much more manageable evening and bed time.

Q: What is your favorite hobby when you have time for yourself?
A: My favorite hobby and my passion is volunteering for Operation Christmas Child. I am a year-round Media Relations Coordinator for the Green Bay area. I am constantly looking for good deals, after-holiday clearance items and crafty things to do to pack more Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. It is as simple as taking any shoebox and filling it with items for a child in need: hygiene items, school supplies (notebooks, pens, pencils, scissors), toys, socks, flip flops, hats, balls, a stuffed animal/doll, etc. Last year I packed 70 boxes and donated items to 3 packing parties. It is such an amazing ministry and charity! My children get involved, too, and want to help pick out the items to go into each box. Look for the local Facebook Group to get involved: OCC GREEN BAY, WI AREA

Q: Are you a night owl or an early bird (despite what you have to be as a mom)?
A: Night owl. I love to sit and watch Netflix and eat white cheddar popcorn after I put the kids to bed. I look forward to that time!

Q: What is something not many people know about you?
A: Two things:
1) I am obsessed with the Titanic. Not just the movie, but the whole era and history and the people on the ship. I would love to wear the big dresses and corsets and all of it! I know pretty much ever fact about the Titanic. The movie is also my absolute favorite movie of all time. I have it memorized. I could watch it over and over again and it never gets old.
2) I collect swords… I have nine of them. Including an authentic replica of Anduril–the big sword in Lord of the Rings that they forge back together. It is almost as tall as me!

Thanks for sharing with us, Tiffany! Check back next week to meet another area mom!
