There are many parks with sledding hills, skating rinks and ski trails in the Green Bay area to enjoy during our (long) winter season. The trick is knowing where they are! You can always check out the let’s go outside page on the let’s go mommy website for a complete list of all the area parks which lists the “amenities” of each park along with the addresses to find them; but to save you time, below is a list of all the “winter” parks in one place for you.
Please note that when it comes to outdoor skating rinks, the status of these is heavily dependent on the weather. The Parks Departments work very hard to make sure these are up and running for the community, but above-freezing temps, rain and other conditions can affect their status quickly. Therefore, check your local parks department website or call for the status of the ice rinks. For the Green Bay Parks & Rec Department you can check the status here.
