First Annual Kids Consignment Event in Green Bay

Mark your calendars! There is a new organization in town that is going to be hosting its first kids consignment event in the Green Bay area this summer! The organization is called GOIN’ GA GA 4 KIDZ  and they will be hosting a 3-day seasonal consignment event twice a year–one for fall/winter and one for spring/summer–at a local venue.

The first event will be the “Fall Consignment Sale” and will take place August 17th-20th at First Congregational UCC in De Pere.

GOIN’ GA GA 4 KIDZ was started by Rhonda Chandler, who moved to Green Bay with her family last year. They moved here from Charlotte, North Carolina where consigning and consignment sales are very popular. Rhonda has a passion for helping people and consigning and always had a desire to start her own consignment business, so it seemed like the perfect opportunity to bring this great service to Green Bay and fulfill her dream.

If you are new to consigning, here is everything you need to know:

What is a Consignment Sale? A consignment sale is an opportunity to sell your children’s gently used and outgrown clothes, toys, shoes, etc. and make some extra cash! It is also a chance to SHOP and buy these same types of items at a reasonable price.

How does the Sale work? Consignors (Sellers) register online at www.goingaga4kidz.com or myconsignmentmanager. There is a $7 non-refundable fee to participate. Once you are registered you will receive a confirmation email and be assigned a consignor number. This number will track all items sold. Then you can create tags for your clothing/toys etc. There are also opportunities for vendors and volunteers to sign up.

Is there a fee to shop when the sale opens? There is no admission cost on the day(s) of the sale.

What are the hours of the sale?
Thursday, August 18: 8-10AM (Pre-sale shopping for consignors, volunteers and individuals who bring a new item to donate to the Service League Back to School Store Event)
