Meet Allison Kaufman!

Q: What town/city do you live in?
A:  We recently moved to Ledgeview from Charleston, South Carolina.

Q: How many kids do you have?
A:  Three boys.

Q: What are their ages?
A:  They are 4.5, almost 2, and almost 2 months

Q: Do you work outside the home? If so, where & what do you do?
A:  No. I’m a stay-at-home mom.

Q: What is your favorite at-home activity to do with your kids?
A:  We love playing outside. We especially love bubbles, the bounce house, riding bikes and anything that involves a ball.  I’m excited (and nervous) for them to experience winter activities for the first time!

Q: Where is your favorite place around Green Bay to take your kids?
A:  We have so many favorite places, but if I had to pick just one it would have to be Bay Beach for the rides and the Wildlife Sanctuary.

Q: If you had one parenting tip to share that has worked for you/helped you, what would it be?
A:  I try to be the same parent at home as I am in public and ask myself if I’m giving my family the best of me or just what’s left of me. Parenting is exhausting and the requests can seem endless, but I try to respond to them in the same way that I’d respond to a stranger – or even better.  It’s easier said than done sometimes!

Q: What do you like to do when you have time for yourself?
A:  Shopping!

Q: Are you a night owl or an early bird (despite what you have to be as a mom)?
A:  Are there any birds that don’t sleep at all, because that’s how I feel right now. 🙂  I’m usually more of a night owl, though.

Q: What is something not many people know about you? 
A:  I’ve lived in 10 different states (some more than once) and we’re not even in the military!
