Monday Morning Moms in Green Bay

Meet Pam Calaway!

Q: What town/city do you live in?
A: Town of Lawrence

Q: How many kids do you have?
A: Two–a boy & a girl

Q: What are their ages?
A: Caleb is 7 and Macy is 4-1/2

Q: Do you work outside the home? If so, where & what do you do?
A: I work full time as a Sonographer doing OB and GYN ultrasounds at an OB clinic in Green Bay.

Q: What is your favorite at-home activity to do with your kids?
A: With having a boy and a girl and the age difference between the two, they are not always on the same page with what they want to do or play. I would say the one thing I think they both like to do is crafts. I like to look around on Pinterest to find different crafts to do with them.

Q: Where is your favorite place around Green Bay to take your kids?
A: There are so many things we like to do around Green Bay! If I had to pick just one, I would say we love to go to The School House.  They have free activities every Saturday and my kids just love walking around the store.  They have so many different toys to demo, my kids love it there!

Q: What has been your biggest challenge in parenting thus far?
A: My biggest challenge is being a full-time working mom.  It’s hard to find the time to do everything that needs to be done at home and still give my kids the attention they deserve.  Thankfully, I have a wonderful husband who is a huge help!

Q: What is your favorite thing to do for yourself when you have time?
A: I love to cook and bake and I also really enjoy running. Another one of my favorite things to do this time of year is to go to rummage sales, but finding the time can be a challenge!!

Q: Are you a night owl or an early bird (despite what you have to be as a mom)?
A: I am definitely an early bird. My kids have always been early risers as well.

Q: Share a funny quote from one of your kids
A: We were driving in the car one day and my daughter saw a yellow cross-walk sign and she said, “Oh, no crossing with purses.” She just sort of mumbled it, but I thought it was so funny!! I had never even noticed that some of those signs have what looks like 2 women with purses crossing the street!

Thanks for sharing with us, Pam. Check back next week to meet another area mom!

(P.S. Let’s go mommy is still in need of more submissions from moms or dads, so please contact me if you are interested and willing to be featured: lindy@letsgomommy.com. It’s super easy!)
