New Years Eve 2017: Green Bay

For families looking for something fun to do in Green Bay on New Years Eve, US Bank Eve has you covered with multiple events going on around town! U.S. Bank Eve is Green Bay’s time–honored community celebration of the New Year. It’s a family–oriented, alcohol–free event with fun-filled activities for the entire family. US BANK EVE
West Side YMCA: 5-8PM
Kick off the New Year at Green Bay’s West Side YMCA! (Children must be accompanied by an adult.) Join us for an evening of festivities for the whole family as we close out 2017! We will have bounce houses, face painting, party hat crafting, glow stick dance party, GaGa, family fun with entertainer Randy Peterson, balloon animals with the Happy Ness Clowns, preschool play equipment, pool and water slide, open gym. We will end the night with a “countdown to midnight” (aka 8PM) with a HUGE balloon drop, noisemakers and more glowsticks. Free snacks and refreshments provided.

East Side YMCA: 5-8PM
Come to Green Bay’s East Side YMCA to celebrate the New Year! (Children must be accompanied by an adult.) Enjoy Bingo, face painting, party hat craft and crazy hair colors. Extra special activities include giant bounce houses, gymnastics center, open gy, GaGa game and special entertainment by Mischief and Magic! Pop into the photo booth for fun family memories. Families can try out the aquatic fun center with sprinkles and slide. Snacks and refreshments provided. Stay for explosive excitement with a New Year countdown at 7:45PM!

Downtown YMCA: 5-10PM
Calling all families–Countdown to 2018 at the Downtown YMCA from 5-8PM! We will have entertainment from Miller & Mike as well as the fun our facility has to offer from bounces houses to basketball, swimming to snacks and gymnastics center to GaGa! Family Fun from 5-8 with free snacks and refreshments. Plus enjoy horse drawn carriage rides from the Y and end the night with fireworks over the river.

From 8-10PM, tweens and teens from 5th-9th grade are invited to stay for the Best. Night. Ever! Bring your Dab and Dougie and come dance away 2017 with a DJ and your friends. Chocolate fountain, punch, finger foods and a little bit of glamour to ring in the New Year!

Cornerstone Community Ice Center: 7-10PM
Use the lower entrance and bring your ice skates or rent them for $2. Refreshments available, proceeds will benefit the “All Learn to Skate Program” at Cornerstone.

Kroc Community Center: 5-9PM
(Adult supervision required for children.) Bring your family and experience our Aquatic Center as it transforms into a magical twilight swimming pool, move to the gym to jump around and dance in our bounce houses while listening to your favorite songs. You can get creative in our party rooms with beach ball decorating and other family projects. Stop in the Game Room for photo booth fun. Each guest will have an opportunity to win a door prize. All non-members 18 and older need to present a photo ID at check-in.

Neville Public Museum: 3-9:30PM
Share in the holiday magic at the Neville! Explore our exhibits including NEON: Darkness Electrified, Permian Monsters. And see our annual exhibits featuring the Prange’s window displays. Meet Bruce the Spruce, create an art project to greet the Lucky Llama and enjoy the 9PM fireworks from our mezzanine window. Complimentary cookies & soda while supplies last.

Horse Drawn Wagon Rides: 5-8PM
Wear your hat, mittens and boots and enjoy an old-fashioned wagon ride around Downtown Green Bay! Rides will depart from the Neville Museum and Downtown YMCA.

Lucky Llama & Fireworks: 8:40-9:30PM
Spot the #LuckyLlama walking across the Main Street bridge in downtown Green Bay around 8:40PM on 12/31! Fireworks will immediately follow the Lucky Llama’s crossing.

KIDS ROCKIN’ EVE at Green Bay Children’s Museum: 10AM-2PM
Ring-a-ling! 2018 here we come!! We’ve got our own “Times Square” right here. Come celebrate with us! Enjoy a dance party, countdowns on the hour and project stations that will get you prepared for New Year’s festivities. It’s New Year’s fun for all ages! Regular admission rates apply.

SWIMMING at Tundra Lodge Water Park

Spend your New Year’s Eve with some family swimming fun! Kids of all ages will love the exciting three-story, indoor waterpark featuring Green Bay’s only lazy river. Adults can sit poolside and enjoy concessions from the Polar Bear Pub. Must call day-of to reserve passes & confirm prices as passes are based on availability/hotel occupancy. Full-day passes only on New Years Eve.
