Supervised Playground Programs Green Bay Area: 2021

Did you know that there are Supervised Park Playground Programs this summer in Ashwaubenon, De Pere and Green Bay at 27 different parks?

Each program is slightly different, but as a general rule, these programs are for kids ages 6 & up. It is a drop-in program, but kids typically need to be registered in the program to participate. The parks are staffed with “Parkees” who are area high school students and positive role models who plan and lead activities to do with the kids throughout the summer. Activities include arts and crafts, games, sports, theme weeks, special events/field trips and more! It is not necessary to be a resident of the given city to participate in the program and the Ashwaubenon and Green Bay programs are FREE!!

Please note that while recreation staff will supervise participants during scheduled activities they are not responsible for keeping track of children for the duration of the day and this should not be used as a substitute for child-care services. Kids may come and go as they please and participate in the scheduled activities of their choice at any of the participating parks. Staff is also not responsible for providing activities for non-registered children where registration is required. Playgrounds are subject to close if there is inclement weather such as lightning/thunder, heavy rain, hail, extreme wind or exceedingly hot temperatures.
