50 Things to do this Summer in Green Bay: 2016

I’ve spent many hours the last few weeks updating all of the “summer hours” at various businesses/destinations and adding nearly 500 special events going on in Green Bay this summer in addition to the hours for all of the outdoor swimming pools, wading pools and splash pads!! It’s all in the let’s go mommy calendar, but for those of you who like to have things consolidated into one place and love lists, below is a recap of many of the things going on in the Green Bay area this summer that you should try to check out with your kids and family. Many of these activities are free or cheap. For more information on these events you can look them up by date in the let’s go mommy calendar. In no particular order, except somewhat chronological, here are 50 Things to do this Summer in Green Bay:

1. Fridays on the Fox at The CityDeck from 5-9PM; begins 6/24 and ends on 8/5

2. Bellevue Outdoor Movies in the Park at Josten Park on 6/24, 7/29 and 8/19

3. Fly a Kite Fest from 10-4 on 6/25 at Arnie Wolff Sports Complex

4. Kids’ Dream Summer Film Series with cheap family movies at BayPark & Green Bay East Cinemas on Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays at 10AM; ends 8/17

5. Music on the Green at Heritage Hill State Historical Park (bi-weekly on Mondays starting 6/13 from 5-8PM); ends 8/22

6. Rockin’ in Josten at Josten Park on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of June, July & August from 6-8:30PM

7. Children’s Storytime at Green Bay Botanical Gardens (Tuesday mornings at 10); ends 8/30

8. Kids Free Tuesdays at Heritage Hill State Historical Park from 10-4:30; ends on 8/30

9. Cookouts at the Botanical Gardens (Wednesdays from 11-1); ends 8/31

10. Free Admission to the Botanical Garden & Children’s Discovery Center (Wednesdays from 4-8PM); ends 8/31

11. Dine on the Deck at The CityDeck (Wednesdays from 11-1); ends 8/24

12. Green Bay City Band Concerts at St James Park on Wednesdays at 7:30PM; ends 8/17

14. Summer in the Park at Whitney Park (bi-weekly on Thursdays from 11:30-2); begins 6/16 and ends 8/11

15. De Pere City Band Concerts at Voyageur Park (bi-weekly on Thursdays starting 6/16 at 7PM); ends 8/4

16 Concerts at the Garden at Green Bay Botanical Garden on Thursdays from 6-7:30PM; begins 6/30 and ends 8/18
